Novy Foland, Science

It’s a great day to be a Tiger!

My name is Novy Foland and I teach science for 7th through 12th graders. I also coach Junior High and High School girls basketball and scholar bowl.

As the science teacher here at Keytesville, my goal is to inspire students to not only gain an interest in the amazing world of science but to also take the lessons learned in my class and apply them to life.  Our world is constantly changing and science allows us to better understand these changes as we move towards the future.

I studied my undergrad at Central Methodist University where I graduated in 2015 with my major in Biology.  I also obtained my Master’s in Biology from Clemson University in 2019. My wife, Valerie, studied at CMU as well and recently graduated from Mizzou Law.  We enjoy running 5ks together and with our dog, we’ve coached sports together, and in our free time we enjoy going to the movies.
